About Us
We are Paul and Suzy Minck. Our 2 kids are grown and moving out of the house so we have an empty nest. But the barnyard is full of 4 legged bouncing bundles of joy that continue to call me, "Maaaa". Our Miniature Alpine herd started in 2003 and as of this past winter of 2010 we have had our second year of the 3rd generation kids born. They keep amazing me with their Alpine traits.
This summer we took some trips to Wilhoit, AZ to visit with Ted & Linda Adams of the AFF Herd. A 1st generation doe was bought who is Inspirations SM La Brie *P and her grandson that is a 3rd generation buckling, AFF Herd Pepperjack out of AFF Herd Ricotta and by Cherry Butte Brutis. We have also bought La Brie's 2010 daughter, Blanca and another doeling, Chevre, from Linda, both are 2nd gen's. They are now home in Texas and are doing great.
We also added 1st & 2nd generation bucklings from Idaho from Cari Zisk's herd, Cherry Butte Presley & Cherry Butte Winchester. I couldn't be happier to have these wonderful genetics added to my herd.
