Our Jr. Doe's
MilkMaidRanch MS Honolulu
Honolulu (Lulu) is a 2nd generation doe that is out of Aruba and by Mr. Sinatra. She was a single kid. The photo at the right is from her first freshening in Feb. 2010. She has mom's attachment and I can't wait to see it by the 3rd freshening. She had a doeling this past season and the sire is Nashville so the kid(Fantasy Island) is still a 2nd generation. She was bred back to Nash for Nov. kids. Lulu is for sale bred to Nashville, $250.

Fancy, a 2nd generation, out of Montego Bay and by Gaston is a wonderful yearling. Her twin is Joel on "Our Bucks" page. It has been a joy to watch this doe grow. She was just bred to Nashville for a Dec. kid. In July of 2010 Fancy won the Yearling class in ring 1 on the MDGA summer V-Show. |

MILKMAIDRANCH GA NANCY SINATRA
Nancy is out of Dixie from her first freshing. Her sire is Gaston so she is a 2nd generation doe. She was born in 2009 and was just bred to Nashville for kids in 2011. I can't wait to see her udder. She is also the half sister to Memphis. Her lines are heavy to produce the Cou Blanc coloring also.

AFF HERD BC CHEVRE
Grand Champion Jr. Doe, TMGC Memorial Weekend show in Wilhoit, AZ, May 30, 2010
Chevre is a Feb. 2010 kid and I can't be happier to have her in my herd. She is one of the 2nd generation doelings that came back from Wilhoit, AZ with me. She is also out of La Brie's twin sister. The chest on this girl is the best I've ever seen. She and Blanca have the same sire(Cherry Butte Brutis) so they are also sisters as well as cousins by their dams, in human terms. She has time to grow so I don't know who will sire her first kids but most likely Joel. She is very playful and will be in my herd for some time to come.

AFF HERD BB QUESO BLANCA
Blanca is the daughter to La Brie. She reminds me of a little deer and you can see that in the photo on the left. A very alert doeling and I expect some wonderful kids from her. At the moment I'm thinking of breeding her to Joel when the time comes. Some wonderful kids are in our future with these new additions to the Milk Maid Ranch family.

MILKMAIDRANCH GA SASHAY
Sashay is a 2nd generation also and Gaston's daughter out of Sonnet. I did some heavy line breeding here and I can't say how happy I am for doing it. She'll be bred to Winchester this fall also for her first freshening come 2011. With her milking genetics I expect a great udder on her. She's an 09 model. Sashay is for sale bred to Nashville, $250.

MILKMAIDRANCH N FANTASY ISLAND
These photo's show how Fantasy has changed. She is Nashville's first offspring out of Honolulu. It took me days to name her and I'm glad I decided on Fantasy. She's never still for a minute so getting updated pics will be hard. She's a joy to watch. Oh, she's also Aruba's granddaughter. 2nd generation for her sire being a 1st generation and her dam is a 2nd gen. Fantasy was in the V-Show on the MGDA web-site in July 2010 and came in 2nd in Ring 1 for Sr. Doelings.

Tennessee is the daughter of Nashville and Sonnet. She is the half sister to Sashay and both have mom's waddles. 2nd generation. She is very stout and will be taller.

Texarkanna is a real doll and is the twin to Rod of Iron. Sire is Nashville and her dam is Aruba. She is a 2nd generationand I really like the photo of her chest on the right. At 4 months old she shows how filled out she is already.

MILKMAIDRANCH GA DIP N' DOTS
I cannot say how excited I was when Dip N Dot's was born. I had the hardest time deciding what her color was for her papers. She is the only 3rd generation doe that I bred last year. She was bred to Joel out of curiosity. She had a buck kid and I was so happy with her udder for a single kid. Should have taken it from a lower angle though. She is a twin and Tootsie Roll is that twin out of Kokomo, Gaston is her sire. She was bred to Nashville for Dec. kids.

MILKMAIDRANCH GA TOOTSIE ROLL
Tootsie has developed into a nice doeling. Long body, wide hind stance and is Dip N' Dots twin out of Kokomo and by Gaston. In the fall of 2009 she won her class AOM Jr. Doelings in the V-Show with MDGA. Tootsie is bred to Nashville for Dec. 2010 kids, for her first freshnening. $250

MILKMAIDRANCH GA SWEET THING
Sweet Thing is a doeling that is full of mischief. Climbing is in her nature as with all goats but she perfected it. Her mom is Sweet Heart and I expect her to have an udder even better than mom's. This is one doe I may never sell & by seeing the photo to the right, wouldn't you agree, and I can't wait to see her kids by Pepper Jack.

MILKMAIDRANCH GA CAROL KING
Carol is the first daughter to Tasha and the twin to The Boss who was sold to Stacey Sturdevant in MO. She is a pest from the word go. Has to be on my lap or pulling on my jeans. Carol King Won the Sr. Doeling class in Ring 1 on the MGDA's summer V-Show in July of 2010. She has grown so well this year that I'm going to breed her to Pepper Jack for our first, 4th generation Mini-Alpines in Jan/Feb 2011.

Oh, what a cutie Keys is. I still can't believe I got her personality in the shot on the left. A smart one. She's Kokomo's daughter from Gaston. Also the twin sister to Krakatoa. An interesting one to watch. Keys is for sale and not bred. $175.

CONGRATULATIONS to SWEET PEA for being the Grand Champion Jr. Doe, Ring 2, in the summer of 2010's V-Show with MDGA.
I have to say that Sweet Pea is my pride and joy this 2010 kidding season. She is Sweet Hearts daughter by Gaston which means that she and Sweet Thing are full sisters. It will be a long wait for she and Pepper Jack to have kids and with his gray coloring it will be interesting when their 4th generation kids are here. Sweet Pea won the Sr. Doelings class in Ring 2 on the MDGA's V-Show in July, 2010.

MILKMAIDRANCH GA CARLY SIMON
Carly is one that is somewhat rough around the edges. I'm giving her time to mature and I have no doubt she'll develop nicely. Flossy is her mom and she was sold this past spring. This is the doe that is with Carly as a new born. This photo was taken just hours after she had her first meal. She is also full sister to Springsteen who is now living in AZ with Linda Adams. *** Update*** Carly has taken on a real growing spurt and I can't be happier.
