 This is my Arabian filly that is now 10 years old. Yes, I still call her the filly, Dhandi's Darlyn. Her sire was Dhandi Dar who I showed back in the late 80's and we won the Texas High Point Award at Talland II in Burleson, TX for Versitility in 1987. She is Polish bred and I still own her mother Val.
Val, to the right, is Darlyn's dam. I bought her in 1999. She is now 20 and still going strong. This photo of her was taken last year. The handsome stud on the right is her sire, Dhandi Dar. That's me at a skinny 115lbs back in 1988 after our wonderful show season of 53 wins and the High Point Award. The whip in my hand was just for effect, never did I have to use it on him. Any person that handles a stud horse will carry one for protection. We were playing his favorite game. Notice his tongue is sticking out at me.
