Davinchi is what every breeder wants in their herd. I have to start by saying he is not mine but the owner is letting me use him on a few of my doe's. He has never been exposed to a doe so I know he's clean. He comes from Tony Bates in Mead, OK and was sold to Cynthia Martin in Ft. Smith, Ark. He bred Lolly Pop for may kids.
Davinchi's bloodlines read like the queen of England's heritage. He has 33 Champions in his line and as an example: ARMCH Rosasharon Unagi 4 *D E, Rosasharon FS Polaris(sire of National Champion Sr. Buck High Point Arnoth) MCH Twin Creeks BW Fantasia 2 *D E(06 AGS Reserve National Champion), Buffalo Clover Princess *D (NDGA National Champion Sr. Doe & Best Udder) This is just a few of them. He is what I call a Calico, like the cat. Photo taken on 9/26/09

This first Mini-Alpine is my favorite, Aruba. She is very friendly and usually I don't milk a first time freshener but she impressed me with her udder in 08 so much that I milked her and she's done a great job. On Feb 19, 2010 she had her first set of twins, a buck and a doe sired by Nashville. This girl continues to impress me. She also has nursed kids that are not hers. Photo's of her 2010 kids will be up in a few days.
Aruba's offspring: 2nd generations
MilkMaidRanch MS Gaston 08 - Buck
MilkMaidRanch MS Honolulu 09 - Doeling(full sister to Gaston)
MilkMaidRanch Na Rod of Iron 10
MilkMaidRanch Na Texarkana 10

Montego is a small doe but has a socked on udder and another one I broke my rule of not milking a first freshener in 08. I think this doe will be my best Mini-Alpine milker. She's a wonderful mom and surpasses everything I expected in my Mini-Alpine's. Her kids are 2nd generations and Gaston is their sire. She is bred to Nashville for the 2010 kidding season.
Montego Bay's offspring: 2nd generations
MilkMaidRanch Ga Fancy Girl 09

****NEWS Montego Bay came in first in the MDGA Fall V-show class for Dry Doe's, Aruba was second place.

I can't wait to see him grow into a strong herd buck and he is for sale.

She was bred to Gaston on 8/6/09 and on 1/2/10 she had a Chamo doeling and Chamo with wide white band buck kid. With the number of kids she has given me I am going to sell Kokomo. She is a 2nd generation Mini-Alpine with a wonderful udder and great personality, friendly. A good adition to any herd for passing on udder attachment. $200.
Kokomo's offspring are:
MilkMaidRanch MS SweetHeart 08 2nd gen doe
MilkMaidRanch Ga Tootsie Roll 09 3rd gen doeling - 1st place in the weanling class Fall V-Show with MDGA

MilkMaidRanch Ga Florida Keys 10 3rd gen doeling
MilkMaidRanch Ga Krakatoa 10 3rd gen buckling

Sarabi is a wonderful doe and 09 was her first freshening. She twined with the first 3rd generation buckling listed below. Her udder is very well attached and her kids are really growing. Very pleased with her as she is a shorter doe. A very easy kidder. She was bred to Nashville for her 2010 kids. I decided to breed her to Nash to see if he can put some height on her kids as she is smaller. Any kids from this breeding will be the 2nd generation. On Feb. 12, 2010 she had twin doe's that are identical. Sarabi and her twins will be headed to a new home with Flossy south of Waco, TX. Thank you Kim and congrats on the new baby, 2 legged.
Sarabi's offspring are: 3rd generations

Flossy is Tasha's twin sister. I expect these doe's to have their mom's wonderful udder. On Jan. 5, 2010 she gave birth to her second kid, a doeling. A photo will be up in a few weeks. Flossy was bred to Gaston. She has a good udder & larger teats that I figured she'd have & wanted. SOLD
Flossy's offspring are:
MilkMaidRanch Ga Springsteen 3rd gen 09 (Picture under 3rd Gen buck's)
MilkMaidRanch Ga Carly Simon 3rd gen 10 (The image of her full brother)

Tasha was very small as a weanling. I almost didn't keep her or register her. I'm very happy I let her have the time to grow and come into her own. She's now a first time freshener with twins. A buckling named The Boss and a doeling named Carol King. For now Tasha will be staying put to produce more 3rd generation kids and will be in my milking string this year.

Nancy is a 2nd generation and a doll of a doe and was a twin. The twin doeling was sold. Nancy is very dairy and true to the Alpine breed for coloring of a Cou Blanc. I don't know who will be breeding her so for now she will just be growing.
Her sire is Gaston
Her dam is Dixie.

This doe is on the wild side, it will be that way till she realizes she needs to rely on me to get fed. I like to sit and see the wild kids change their minds that I'm not the Boogy Man. LOL Her dam is Sonnet and she gets that wild spirit from her. It will be amusing to watch her change her mind. She has a twin sister that was sold.
Sonnet is Aruba's half sister by their mom so I expect the udder on this doeling to be very good.
Gaston is her sire.

Tootsie Roll is developing into a long doeling. She was the smaller of the 2 but has put on a bloom. She came in first place in the Jr. Doe Kids class on the MDGA Fall V-Show.
________________________________________________
Dip N' Dots is growing very nicely and is a very alert doeling. Dot's came in 2nd in the MDGA Fall V-show. She was bred to Joel for an March 10 kid. She's bagging up and I'm getting excited.
Kokomo is their dam and Gaston their sire.

Sweet Thing's dam is Sweet Heart so she is Kokomo's granddaughter. She's very flashy and a broken Chamo. Will not be bred till the fall of 2010. In Jan 2010 she had a full sister born named Sweat Pea.
NOTE: I will be keeping all my 3rd Generation's this year. There are no others that I can find in the country so I need to keep all of them. There were a total of 6 born in 09 with only 2 bucks.

In April of 2009 Kubby came to us and he's a clone of Kanga(not really). They have the same personality and with Kanga as a teacher, Kubby will be able to take over when the time comes. He is such a good puppy. He goes out with the herd every day when Kanga goes and checks the fence lines. If one kid stays in the barnyard, Kubby is with it till the herd comes back in.
9/8/09 Kubby is almost the height of Kanga and I'm having a hard time telling them apart when they are out in the pasture & I'm looking from a distance. LOL
I DO NOT breed PG's, they are neutered to keep their minds on their job.
